DWC or DXB for a private flight to Dubai?

Confirm that the airport can accept your flight

Dubai World Central serves general aviation through approved ground handling providers, known as fixed-base operators (FBOs). Dubai International has closely coordinated flight schedules and may have limited capacity at busy times. Airport access depends on current airport, slot and operator requirements. Your final address helps determine the onward transfer.

Arrange airport services before your flight

A general aviation flight requires an approved arrangement for ground services. Permits, airport slots, flight support, catering, passenger formalities and parking must be coordinated for each flight. The licensed operator confirms whether it can operate, and the ground handling provider confirms airport services, parking and passenger arrangements.

Check aircraft performance for your travel date

Temperature, the weight carried, runway performance and route length affect the aircraft and fuel requirements. Checks include passenger numbers, luggage, catering, planned fuel, cabin requirements and any refuelling stop.

Compare the ground journey

DWC and DXB serve different parts of Dubai, with different traffic conditions. Tell us your final hotel, residence or business address and when you would like to arrive. We consider both airport availability and the road journey.

Read your quote carefully

Your quote should identify the operator, aircraft, airport, planned ground handling provider, permit and slot status, included services and conditions. If you request DXB, make sure you understand the alternative via DWC before confirming.

• Airport and ground handling provider clearly named
• Permit and slot status explained
• Passenger documents checked
• Passenger and luggage weight allowances recorded
