01 When the combination can work
Possible itineraries include Zurich to Samedan followed by a drive to St. Moritz, Geneva to Sion with a transfer to Verbier, or Zurich to Lugano and a car to your hotel. These examples are starting points for an enquiry. Feasibility and any time saving depend on the departure point, weather, availability and the complete journey to your destination.
02 Matching the landing site and pick-up
Landing directly at a hotel or private address is not automatically possible. The helicopter operator confirms a suitable landing site and checks the permissions needed. We arrange an accessible meeting point for the chauffeur. After landing, follow the crew’s instructions; the partners on site coordinate safe access to the vehicle.
03 Check luggage before choosing an aircraft
The number of seats does not tell you whether everyone and their luggage can travel together. Please give us the number, dimensions and weight of bags, including skis, golf clubs or other bulky items. The operator checks loading and storage capacity. If luggage needs to travel separately by road, we agree this before booking and arrange a suitable vehicle.
04 Weather and seasonal planning
Short days and landing-site conditions need particular attention in winter. In summer, thunderstorms can change the plan. A helicopter is not a dependable substitute for a flight cancelled because of weather. We discuss flexibility and a possible road journey; the operating company decides whether the flight can be made safely.
05 One contact to coordinate the journey
We coordinate the helicopter operator and local car service, arrival time, meeting point, destination address and return plans. The quote identifies the providers and confirmed services. Choose an example route below, then adjust the departure point, destination and date to suit your journey. Add the full address for the car transfer in the travel preferences field.
