Choose a gateway for the complete journey

Zurich, St. Gallen Altenrhein and Engadin Airport can all form part of a Davos plan. The aircraft, origin, arrival window, weather and final address determine which option works best. Engadin Airport can shorten part of the ground journey for suitable missions. Alpine operating conditions require a detailed review.

Check the rules for the specific year

During the World Economic Forum, temporary restricted airspace and special procedures can apply around Davos. PPR, flight plan requirements, slots, security processes and airport acceptance must be checked against the current AIP supplement, NOTAMs and airport briefing. A procedure from a previous year is not a valid basis for the next event.

Treat the transfer as part of the mission

Road conditions, seasonal access, traffic controls and weather affect the arrival after landing. A helicopter segment requires qualified operator availability, a confirmed landing point, suitable passenger and baggage limits, local permissions and acceptable weather.
